Elegant and graceful, this gorgeous necklace is fit for a princess! Dazzle your valentine with this stunning piece of jewelry on Valentine’s Day or on any day of the year. Brilliant faceted magenta jade beads, lush purple sugilite and a series of ornate Bali silver and pure "liquid" silver beads make up this simple and timeless necklace.

Luscious and reflective, the spectacular jade beads are beautifully cut and faceted, each bead measuring 30mm in length. The silver beads add contrast in color, shape and texture as well as enhancing the reflective properties of the faceted jade. The purple color of the sugilite coordinates perfectly with the magenta of the jade and mixed with the silver, this is a wonderfully harmonious and seductive color palette.

The four ornate silver beads separating the jade are individually handmade in Bali from sterling silver. Each of these beads is a miniature piece of artwork, so please expect variation in the exact styling, shape and size of these beads. The beaded spacer beads are also Bali silver.

All of the other silver beads in this necklace are actually brilliantly coated terra cotta from Greece. These beads are hand-formed from a unique mix of volcanic clays, kiln-fired, kiln-fired again with a rough copper coating, and then heavily covered with 100% pure silver. The large etched beads also undergo an extra step of antiquing, giving them authentic, rugged texture and style.

This romantic necklace closes with a designer hammered sterling silver S-hook clasp from the Karen Hill Tribe of Northern Thailand. It is 15 inches in length and will have four inches of chain added to it, making it adjustable to 19 inches.
