Tribal Jewelry Collection

This exotic collection of jewelry includes a variety of pieces filled with soulful elements and tribal characteristics. Most of these ethnic and artisan designs have earthy, natural components like wood, bone, horn and terra cotta that are used often in unconventional manners to create completely original deep-rooted jewelry compositions. Many of these have African and Native American trade beads as well, which were important means of adornment used predominately by these cultural groups in periods throughout history. These pieces of jewelry tend to be colorful and filled with contrasting materials, shapes and styles, often a mix of old and new elements. Many of the components I have used in these pieces have been handcrafted directly out of materials found in nature and are the sort of soulful elements that I think would be used in tribal adornments.
