Chinese Dragon Charm Bracelet

Our Dragon Collection is primarily influenced by the styles and culture of China where the dragon has been an important symbol since ancient times. Chinese people often consider themselves "descendants of the dragon." Unlike the mean, ugly dragons of the West, Eastern dragons are beautiful, friendly and wise. They are loved and worshipped with shrines and temples built in their honor. They bring rain to the Earth and are specifically worshipped as the divine ruler of rain, lakes, rivers and seas. Dragon symbols can be seen all over China, depicted in stone pillars, embroidered on silk tapestries, in pictures, carvings, and writings.

The handcrafted artisan jewelry from our Dragon Collection uses beads characteristic of China, including jade, carved bone and cinnabar, carved wood, turquoise, and beautiful yellow turquoise. Most of these beads are actually handmade in China, with many of the carvings being dragons themselves. We will continue to add to this collection, so keep checking back for new designs.

This unique charm bracelet has a pewter dragon charm matching that of the original Chinese Dragon Necklace along with elements from that necklace including beautiful Chinese turquoise, butterscotch resin tubes, and recycled brown glass nuggets. It is accented with distinct Oriental styling including antiqued and carved bone, antiqued silver, leather knotting, and a slice of bamboo coral. The bracelet closes with a brass lobster clasp and will be adjusted to fit your wrist.
